Nearly every business can benefit from video content. Demonstrating your product in action or showing off your business location is helpful to many potential customers; an explainer video or client testimonial can be a huge attention-grabber.
But let’s be real: if the video looks like a pixelated, jittery mess, it might do more harm than good. If you’re serious about producing video content, then you need clean HD video, crisp audio, skilled editing—and we can handle it all.
Our Video Production Process.
Creating great videos takes more than just fancy equipment and a dream—you need a deliberate process and detailed planning. Our Video Production services are broken up into three phases:
Pre-Production.
For most videos, there’s a lot of work to do before any footage gets recorded. We sign a Production Agreement, which outlines the video’s purpose, concept, deliverables, and responsibilities of each party. We also schedule the day(s) and location of the video shoot, and any talent or interviewee that will appear.
Other services may be needed prior to any video shoot, including:
- Script writing and approval
- Interview question development
- Storyboarding
Production.
The production phase is where the video footage is recorded, along with any necessary audio recording. This could be as simple as a small, on-location interview, or as complicated as an action sequence requiring camera movement, blocking, and props. A full production team may be necessary, or the shoot may only require a one-man crew.
Other considerations might include:
- Multiple video shoots on different days
- Several locations
- B-roll footage
- Dealing with unforeseen circumstances
Post-Production.
Once all the footage and audio have been recorded, we start to gather any other necessary resources and begin making the actual video. The raw files need to be downloaded, organized, and processed into video editing software, edited, and placed together into a timeline.
Many other assets and processes may be used or created, such as:
- Music
- Voiceovers
- Color correction
- Sound editing
- Animations
- Graphics
Once the timeline is complete, it’s rendered into a video file in the agreed-upon format. The file is delivered to the Client, who can view the video request revisions if necessary.
